Excellent sound (for its size), but bring your own wall plug…

I bought this to pair with an Echo Dot. Setup was very easy – almost effortless. Sound is much better than what the Dot, or even the full-sized Echo, can produce, and I am very pleased with its performance.

Not the best Bose product I own.

Sometimes it is a bear to get my phone to synch up. I have to toggle the Bose unit and the phone Bluetooth.

This speaker had an excellent sound, but it stopped working after a few weeks I got it. The speaker doesn’t power on, even if conected to a powered USB port.

Has great Bose Sound, but died after only 12 days. Replacement died after about 7 weeks.

I like this speaker. I bought it to replace the Bose Soundlink speaker (original edition). The sound is great, and it fits into the case I bought for the original, so that’s nice.

Dog Product from Bose.

Bought it once. Returned it because it stopped working soon after purchase. Bought it a second time, and it stopped working after initial battery charge. Called Bose. Re-set the processor per rep’s instructions and topped off the battery charge. Used it for about 15 minutes. Died again. Completely dead again. Called Bose and was told that it shouldn’t do that. Duh. Dog product. Returned for refund and will look for different speaker this time.

I purchased the speaker in March 2017, and here 4 months later it has stopped working. I used the below method to reset the speaker and it’s working fine again. strange bug for a product line that I’ve always enjoyed.

Bose seems to have swiped the charger, but otherwise, this speaker works well

My original Soundlink failed, after only 10 months, for a really dumb reason, i.e. the power in-socket wore out! It became so loose, it would no longer make a connection. So ordinarily I would be inclined to get something different this time, however, in this price range, the Bose probably delivers the best sound, so I thought I’d risk another try.

Very disappointing

Similar to some other negative reviews I have seen of this speaker, it does not last even close to 7-8 hours. It dies after 3.5 hours on a full charge. Very disappointing. Strangely, it is never on “low” battery. It dies while on medium.

Bose still got it…

TBH initially I wasn’t pleased with the sound of it at all! I’ve gotten so used to listening to music underneath the bump and vibration of (Beats) bass that I didn’t recognize real quality any more. I didn’t pay attention to the fact that I can clearly hear every instrument (individually) as well as every lyric spoke within the song playing. I didn’t notice the awesomeness of this tiny little box until I was in a completely separate room away from it, yet I heard every sound described above in perfectly pristine quality as if the music was live & followed me into the next room. Suddenly I remembered the quality sound of the Bose products my parents owned. The beauty of clear, quality sound wrapping around you.

If I could, I would rate it a zero star!!!

There are many terrible aspects to this lemon Bose speaker. But the two worst are: 1) when it’s charging, it makes a terrible beeping noise INCESSANTLY and 2) the gosh darn thing charges for hours and then only plays for ONE HOUR AT MOST! It’s truly a horrible purchase!
